At AMR we know it isn’t easy to make the decision to invite a caregiver into your home to provide home care. That’s why our personalized screening system is designed to maximize your peace of mind. You’ll have the opportunity to interview any caregiver that we refer to you. We let you choose the caregiver you trust.
Screening Process
We make sure we pre-screen all caregivers that we refer to our clients. We require them to submit documentation, forms, and verify all their information before we ever consider sending them to a client’s home. Additionally all our caregivers are required to be certified nurses and pass state exams. While this qualifies each individual to work in your home, we also believe in caregivers with strong morals and strong character. We try to screen for intangible traits such as a caring personality, compassion, and understanding.
We Recruit Experience!
You deserve to have a caregiver who is experienced in providing the services that are needed in your home. We don’t believe in “on the job training”; our caregivers have a strong employment history in caring for seniors and have references from reliable sources, such as previous clients, agencies, healthcare institutions, etc.).
You Control Everything
Because we are a non-medical agency and not a nursing agency, we will not dictate to you what your schedule will be. You are the boss. When you want to wake up, bathe, eat, or do any other task, your caregiver will be there to support and assist you. Our caregivers are not there to dictate how you should live your life!
